find the glad in it.

1. delafield art walk.
2. dreaming of a studio here someday.
3. my new toms arrived. best. shoe. ever - hands down.
4. rooting for the brew crew with mr b.
5. celebrating the graduation of my lil' sis (why don't i have a photo with her?)
6. beautiful iris outside our door, spotted while walking to the coffee shop with huz

life has been a whirlwind of...well, just life for lack of a better term
& i'm enjoying every single second of it.

yes, there are times when i'm not 100% happy, but like my mama says...
"find the glad in it."

there's always something to be thankful for.

so, in our house we;

"promise to be so strong that nothing can disturb our peace of mind. we look at the sunny side of everything & make optimism come true. we think only of the best, work only for the best, & expect only the best. we forget the mistakes of the past & press on to the greater achievements of the future. we give so much time to the improvement of ourselves that we have no time to criticize others. we live life in the faith that the whole world is on our side so long as we are true to the best that is in us."

{no, i don't make husband recite this every morning...but, now that i'm thinking about it...}
(jk sweetheart.)

so, if you find yourself down in the dumps, remember...
there's always something to be glad about

husband was in a pretty scary car accident yesterday.
he's okay, poor car is not.

{I love you. and our silliness. xo.}

{6} months ago

"I promise to love you, and to sustain you, in the covenant of marriage.  This means I promise to be with you, regardless of our material standing, and regardless of our physical health.  I expect nothing in this world, except that my love for you, will grow stronger and deeper, as the years go by.  As God is my witness, I give you my promise."

6 months ago today, my husband and I exchanged these words.
I could not ask for a better life.
You are my sunshine, Bobby.
I love you.
